    There are lots of people , they dont take a balanced diet. So they face lots of problem like -weakness,sleepness during their work and also faced many disease. So we should take a balanced diet.


A diet which can provide materials for all the metabolic requirements of the body energy ,growth replacement and physiological regulation is called balance diet.

we must include various nutritional materials i.e-Proteins,Carbohydrates,Fats,Minerals,Vitamins in sufficient amount,

1.Carbohydrates                     4.1 kcl/g

2.Protein                                  5.6 kcl/g

3.Fats                                        9.45 kcl/g

A child of 4 to 6 Years of age requires 1500 kcal

A child of 13 to 15 years of age require 2500 kcal

Youth 16 to 18 years of age requires 2800 kcal of energy per day.

In India , People take 50 percent of  there energy from carbohydrate ,35 percent of from fats and 15 percent from protein.

  Our Daily requirements of carbohydrate  about 400-500g ,6-75g of protein and 60-70g of fats.

  4. Nuts

Good Source of  Fats

  1. Olive Oil
  2. Nuts
  3. Peanuts Butter
  4. Fish
  5. Ghee.....etc.
